Lecture by Mr. Shashi Tharoor on "Communication and Social Media in a Changing Global Landscape"

All the Permanent Delegations and Observers to UNESCO are invited to a lecture by Dr. Shashi Tharoor on "Communication and Social Media in a Changing Global Landscape" organized within the framework of the "Communication and Information lecture series" and moderated by Mr Eric Falt, Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information.
Mr. Tharoor is a Member of Parliament and previously served as a Minister of State for External Affairs of India; before that he had a long and distinguished career in the UN system and served as Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information and Senior Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Simultaneous interpretation of the proceedings will be provided in English and French.
