Workshop on ethical reporting of health issues in Africa – Exploring civic awareness in media approaches with practitioners and educators

Fifteen journalism educators, working journalists and editors from Africa will participate in a two day symposium on ethical reporting of health issues in Africa. Bringing together practitioners and educators will bridge the gap that often exists between journalism education and training and journalism practice.
A joint meeting of educators and practitioners will ensure greater alignment between the teaching and practice of health journalism, in the interest of improving the quality of journalism on the continent.

Delegates will be invited to present a short paper and participate in discussions.
