Greenstone Workshop at Latinoware 2008

UNESCO organized a Greenstone workshop as part of the regional conference LATINOWARE 2008 in Foz de Iguazu, ITAIPU, Brazil.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss the functionality of Greenstone for the construction of virtual libraries.

Three Greenstone experts from Argentina, Chile and Peru shared their experiences. Presentations compared Free and Open Source Software for digital libraries, like Dspace and Fedora with Greenstone, and demonstrated examples from Latin America.
