English Centre of International PEN (United Kingdom)

The programme aims to showcase new international authors whose work explores free expression issues or encourages readers to discover and empathise with other cultures.

Each month, Writers in Translation will focus on a particular country, about or from which it will present two or three books on the English PEN website, giving as much contextual information - linguistic, cultural and geographic - as possible.
