Lontar Foundation (Indonesia)

The Foundation's core activity is the translation and publication of Indonesian literary works for use in the teaching of Indonesian literature and culture abroad.

Lontar has always concentrated its efforts on creating a 'market' for Indonesian literature abroad through the steady publication of Indonesian literary titles in English translation and through public events.
