Our Partners

Mali

On the 11th March 2005, the Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity renewed the partnership agreement it had signed in 2004 with the publisher and bookseller Maxi-Livres and with the Grenoble Association for Culture and Development.

This agreement provides for a special sale of books by Maxi-Livres the Franco-Belgian network of bookshops. This year the profits from the sale will be put towards a gift of books made to libraries not only in Senegal, but also in Burkina Faso and Mali. Their transfer will be guaranteed, as last year, by the purchase of African books from publishers and local bookshops, by the Culture and Development Association, a partner of the Global Alliance which has a strong operational grassroots network.”
