World Book Day has been co-ordinated by the Centre for the Book since its establishment in 1998. the slogan for this year's campaign is "Reading is Forever" and the Centre is responsible for managing a variety of activities.

- special posters have been designed and printed for distribution nationwide.
- a creative writing workshop progrmme is offered to teachers and librarians.
- many others events took place at the Centre for the Book.
