Summary of the activities
The ESRC’s mission is to stimulate discussions about the world’s linguistic challenges and to bring attention to the need for equality among all languages.

Our objectives are:
- To promote Esperanto in THE United States, Mexico and Canada.
- To facilitate international communication through Esperanto.
- To bring people together, regardless of the differences in nationality, race, religion, and language, strengthening the feeling of solidarity and mutual understanding between them.
- To unite with other Esperanto speakers around the world.

Activities:
- Weekly informational meetings to the general public in the San Diego area.
- Development of instructional materials for teachers interested in teaching Esperanto to their students.
- Development of learning materials for students.
- Participation in language-related conferences and presentations in local schools.
- Maintenance of web sites, list-serves and other resources to support the efforts of local groups.
