The first meeting of the new Bureau of the Intergovernmental Council (IGC) of UNESCO's Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, on 27 and 28 January 2016.

The main purpose of the meeting, organized by the MOST Secretariat, will be - as per the decision of the extraordinary session of the MOST IGC, held on 14 November 2015 - to finalize the MOST draft strategy for submission to the Executive Board of UNESCO at its 199th session (4-15 April 2016).

The meeting will gather the President of the MOST IGC, H.E. Hon. Dato’Sri Rohani Abdul Karim, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development of Malaysia; the six Vice-Presidents and the Rapporteur of the Bureau; and the MOST Secretariat.
