Host country agreement for 10 COM signed!

The agreement concerning the hosting of the tenth session Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was signed by the Government of the Republic of Namibia and UNESCO on Monday 5 October 2015 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The agreement was signed by Ms Sanet Steenkamp in her capacity as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture of Namibia and Mr Eric Falt in his capacity as Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information of UNESCO, in the presence of H.E. Ms Trudie Amulungu, Chairperson of the Intergovernmental Committee and Ms Cécile Duvelle, Secretary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The tenth session Intergovernmental Committee of the for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place in Windhoek, Namibia, from 30 November to 4 December 2015.
