(UNESCO, 1999) Issues and problems of women's roles in times of war and in times of peace and a review of peace and security policies and practices from the feminine point of view, as well as women's actions and initiatives for peace. It combines the visionary and the practical that has infused the ongoing flow through the years of the International Women's Decade and the 'Beijing Process'.
