The UNESCO Office in Windhoek is a Namibia’s country office that seeks to support the government of the Republic of Namibia to achieve its own development programmes and strategies consistent with international agreements, declarations and conventions.

The Office drives UNESCO’s mission to contribute to the building of peace, the eradication of poverty, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, the sciences, culture, and communication and information. Read more...

In this Issue, we wish to start by welcoming the new United Nations Resident Coordinator and UNDP Representative to Namibia, Ms. Kiki Gbeho who officially present-ed her credentials to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister International Relations and Cooperation, Honourable Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on 5 August 2015.
