UNESCO and Youth - Frequently Asked Questions
10. How can I participate in the UNESCO Youth Forum, or one of the regional youth forums?
Prev Questions/Answers 10 of 13 Next

The delegates of both the UNESCO Youth Forum and the current series of regional forums are nominated according to an established system. Each participating country is invited to nominate two participants, one by the National Commission for UNESCO, one by the national youth council (or, in the absence of a national youth council, by the most appropriate national youth structure). These participants always have to fulfil a set of criteria, which include being an active member of a youth organisation.

All delegates must be nominated by an official nominating body, so if you are interested in representing your country at one of the upcoming forums you should contact your National Commission for UNESCO (or your national youth council). See also: Overview of UNESCO National Commissions.
