Zimbabwe – St Françis Boarding School
This project supplies material support to the St Francis Boarding School and its orphans in rural Zimbabwe.
Prev Projects 8 of 8
The St. Francis Boarding School in Plumtree often suffers from severe storms because of its proximity to the wide opens spaces of the Kalahari Desert. Several buildings and school laboratories were destroyed in 2005. With the support of UNESCO, this damage was repaired before the wet season. As every year, food products and seeds for the school garden were also purchased. Woollen blankets for the orphans were bought too to help deal with the extremely cold winter conditions.
