Evaluation of the Universal Declaration on the Human Genome and Human Rights
Help UNESCO evaluate the impact of the Declaration worldwide!

One of UNESCO's current priority tasks is to evaluate both the worldwide impact of the Universal Declaration on the Human Genome and Human Rights (1997) and to evaluate the results obtained by the Guidelines for its Implementation (30 C/Res. 23).

The evaluation will be examined by the International Bioethics Committee (IBC) and the Intergovernmental Bioethics Committee (IGBC) in 2003 and, together with all relevant recommendations, will be presented by the Director-General to the Organization's governing bodies.

The evaluation will be carried out primarily by means of the following questionnaires. In completing the appropriate questionnaire, you will enable the Organization to gather valuable information for the evaluation. We would appreciate your assistance by completing the questionnaire and/or forwarding this address to appropriate organizations and individuals.
