In line with the overall objective of the CI programme in building inclusive knowledge societies through information and communication, and following the expressed needs and demands of Member States in the region, CI Bangkok works to:
Empower Media and Information Professionals, promote Freedom of Expression, train teachers in Media and Information Literacy, train journalists in professional capacity building, advance the world’s documentary heritage through the Memory of the World programme by facilitating its preservation, assisting universal access and increasing awareness of its existence and significance.
