Award Sponsorship

UNESCO is proposing to develop a high-visibility partnership to consolidate and expand the programme over two cycles of the UNESCO Heritage Awards over a two-year period. The components are:

1. Conducting the annual cycle, judging and ceremonies for the UNESCO Heritage Award programme.

2. To expand the geographical participation by increasing project submissions from targeted countries through advocacy in the Asia-Pacific region. A proposed exhibition, travelling throughout the region highlighting best conservation practice will serve to raise an awareness of the Awards to civil society and heritage specialists. It is proposed to include an educative component with thematic workshops/master classes on key conservation issues and priorities.

3. Ongoing project updates on the UNESCO Heritage Awards website to enhance visibility and knowledge exchange.

Partnership Visibility

Recognition as the major sponsor for the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation through:

1. Logo recognition on annual promotional brochure in all languages produced, permanently carved on bronze commemorative plaques and certificates provided to winners and winning community and architectural installations, in ceremony booklets and programmes, and publications for the Award winning projects.

2. Recognition as the sponsor/partner at Award ceremonies, international conferences and events where UNESCO is invited to present the Award.

3. Prominent logo/title recognition on all promotional materials and events associated with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation, including UNESCO websites and social media accounts.
