Since 1995, UNESCO’s Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in co-operation with the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI), have hosted annual policy seminars to discuss key issues affecting educational development in the region. 2014 Seminar details
Title - "Teacher Effectiveness in Support of Quality Learning in the Asia-Pacific"
Dates - 4 - 5 August 2014
Location - Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit , Bangkok, Thailand
Participants - The seminar brought country representatives from 15 countries (Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Viet Nam) and experts, policy analysts, researchers, and representatives from international, regional and sub-regional organizations and networks from across the Asia-Pacific region.
