Climate Change Education
Addressing climate change requires involvement and action at the local level, as well as the regional and global levels. Education has a central role to play in understanding, mitigating and adapting to climate change.
Climate change education must take into consideration the diverse stakeholders including national education and curricula development experts, climate change experts and representatives of education networks. It aims to promote the effective integration of climate change education into educational programmes and school curricula.
