Background:

The Network on Education Quality Monitoring in the Asia-Pacific (NEQMAP) Secretariat at UNESCO Bangkok, in collaboration with the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE), organized its third capacity development workshop on 18-20 May 2015 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The workshop was also supported by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the Malaysian Fund-in-Trust (MFIT).

Drawing from KICE’s expertise of curriculum and evaluation and conjoining with NEQMAP’s activities, this workshop focused on an overview of alignment issues between curriculum, teaching and assessment, covering parameters of what, why and how. The main target audience were government officials who are deeply involved in or familiar with development of national curriculum and/or assessment in their respective countries.

Date: 18 - 20 May 2015
