Outline: This session aims to stimulate lively discussions around the key findings of UNESCO’s research study entitled “Beyond access: ICT-enhanced innovative pedagogy in TVET in Asia-Pacific”. It will also provide an opportunity to solicit feedback and input from participants and seek concrete policy suggestions to respond to the findings of the study, namely, factors that facilitate/hinder innovative teaching and learning using ICT in TVET. The facilitator will begin the session with some background information about the research and state the modality of the session. Then, the researcher will present the key findings (20 minutes). Then, three panelists will be invited to provide their reflections on the findings (10 minutes each). After that, all participants will be divided into three groups for group discussions for about 30 minutes. The researcher will provide a set of guiding questions for facilitating the discussion. In addition, the researcher and panelists will move from group to group to check if any group needs their support during the discussion. Each group will select a person to summarize comments and feedback from group members. Then, the selected representative from each group will have a chance to present a summary of comments and feedback for about 10 minutes. The researcher will take notes of all feedback and suggestions. At the end, the researcher will debrief on what the key feedback and suggestions are that will be incorporated into the final report (10 minutes).
