Partners and Networks
SC works in cooperation with the Natural Science Sector in Paris, other UNESCO offices, especially its regional bureau in Jakarta, and other cluster offices in the Asia and Pacific region. In order to reach its aims, SC collaborates with international organizations such as ESCAP, FAO, UNDP, UNEP and IUCN as well as regional organizations such as ADB, Mekong River Commission, Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programmes in East and Southeast Asia (CCOP) and AIT.
To implement programmes and carry out activities, UNESCO engages its intergovernmental National Committees such as IHP National Committees, MAB National Committees, IGCP National Committees, Ministries of Water Resources, Ministries of Science and Technology, Universities and Research Institutions.
