UNESCO Heritage Survey for Journalists

14.07.2016

UNESCO’s World Heritage and Intangible Cultural Heritage lists, as well as the Memory of the World register, are testament to our organization’s commitment to preserving and safeguarding Asia-Pacific’s diverse and precious heritage for generations to come.

Journalists as well as bloggers and others who are passionate about conservation and heritage protection play an essential role in raising awareness around the importance of heritage and the measures to safeguard it.

UNESCO realizes that the processes and issues related to each of these three registers and just how UNESCO factors into the story can be complex.

With the World Heritage Committee meeting under way in Turkey, we are seeking input via this survey to clarify common misconceptions around these efforts and also to find out how we can better serve the needs of those communicating about our work.

We thank you in advance for taking the time to assist us in this initiative: https://goo.gl/07wnFF
