Rwanda gathers Arts and Culture Professionals and Stakeholders to review the National State of Affairs of the Cultural Industries

In the framework of project “Enhancing fundamental freedoms through the promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions” funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), UNESCO and the Ministry of Sports and Culture of Rwanda mobilized 70 arts and culture professionals from across the country along with media and government representatives for a week of workshops 23 to 27 May 2016 in Kigali on participatory policy monitoring. The main objective of the workshop is to prepare  the first periodic report on the implementation of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the diversity of Cultural Expressions in Rwanda.
