Liaison Officer Bilateral Relations

Biography

Mishka Stuip has been working at UNESCO-IHE since June 2007. Together with her colleagues in the Liaison Office, she provides assistance and advice to academic staff in project acquisition, formulation and implementation. She facilitates clients requesting for services and liaises with partner institutes and donors interested in cooperating with UNESCO-IHE.

Specifically as Liaison Officer Bilateral Relations, Mishka is responsible for liaising with, and doing acquisition through programmes of the Dutch National Government.

She also provides support to the implementation of the Knowledge Partnership between the Asian Development Bank and UNESCO-IHE. Visit the ADB UNESCO-IHE knowledge partnership website for more information.

Until taking her position at UNESCO-IHE, Mishka worked at Wetlands International and the Foundation for Sustainable Development. Most of her research focused on the socio-economic and environmental valuation of wetlands.

Mishka holds an MSc degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University.
