Vanessa Guedes de Oliveira MSc

Liaison Officer International Relations

Biography

Together with her fellow Liaison Officers, Vanessa provides assistance and advice to academic staff in project acquisition, formulation and implementation. She facilitates clients requesting for services and liaises with partner institutes and donors interested in cooperating with UNESCO-IHE. Specifically, Vanessa is responsible for acquisition through programmes of the United Nations, International Development Banks and the Private Sector.

Vanessa also supports the Rectorate of the Institute in reporting to UNESCO headquarters in Paris, managing all institutional agreements, such as MoUs and coordinating and following up on actions from the UNESCO-IHE Governing Board, the IHE Delft Foundation Board and the Rectorate meetings.

Vanessa has a B.A. in international development and social change and an MSc in population studies.
