Gaetano Casale MSc

Liaison Office Manager

Biography

Gaetano Casale has been working at UNESCO-IHE since May 2007. Together with his colleagues in the Liaison Officer, he provides assistance and advice to academic staff in project acquisition, formulation and implementation. He facilitates clients requesting for services and liaises with partner institutes and donors interested in cooperating with UNESCO-IHE.

Gaetano is an expert in Project Cycle Management and has a broad knowledge of donor programmes. Recently he has also started representing UNESCO-IHE in relevant water sector platforms at European level.

Gaetano has an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Water Services Management. Previously he has worked as Quality Manager in the commercial sector. He has also been board member of a small NGO conducting water and sanitation projects in developing countries.
