From the Airport
By Taxi - Montreal-Trudeau International Airport is located about 22 km west of downtown Montreal, approximately 25 minutes away from the city centre. The cost to travel by taxi from the airport to the city centre is a fixed rate of $38 CDN.
By Bus - The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) runs a 24-hour express bus line ("747") between the airport and downtown, leaving every 30 minutes. The fare is $8 CDN, one way. Only exact change is accepted. More information on schedules and fares can be found on the website of the Aéroports de Montréal.
From Downtown
By Metro - The closest metro station to the UIS is “Côte-des-Neiges”. The Montreal Transit Commission website has more information.
By Bus - Buses number 51 and number 165 run closest to the UIS. The Montreal Transit Commission website has more information.
By Taxi - Taxis from downtown will cost approximately CAD $15.00 to $20.00, depending on traffic conditions and point of departure.
By Car - From either Highway 40 or Highway 20, take the Décarie exit. Exit again at Queen Mary/Côte-des-Neiges. Take Queen Mary Avenue all the way to Decelles Avenue. (See map above).
