Harar Water Supply and Sanitation Project

The project objective is to 1) Provide support to HWSSA in General Management, Technical and Financial Management, Operations and Maintenance Management (Utility Management expert, Commercial Manager, Accounting/Finance and Computer Manager, O&M; expert) to improve operations, billing and collection performance; to meet its reporting obligations; digital maps; to include consumer survey, block mapping, billing and stores management. 2) Provide training in the form of on-the-job, short courses in the utility, and attachments of key staff to Consultants and other institutions. UNESCO-IHE had the responsibility of performing the whole training part in the form of short courses.
