The project intends to make a substantial and measurable impact on resolving the water crisis in Yemen by developing a new group of water thinkers, by relevant research programmes and effective educational programmes, by building structural links to the water sector and by gender mainstreaming. The project will be managed under bilateral funding with joint reporting by the consortium (MetaMeta, UNESCO-IHE, Wageningen University and Cairo University) and the Water and Environment Centre (WEC) Sana’a University, Yemen.
