"Teaching about the Holocaust can be an effective method for educating against racism and for preserving human rights". An interview with Zehavit Gross and E. Doyle Stevick, editors of "As the Witnesses Fall Silent: 21st Century Holocaust Education in Curriculum, Policy and Practice".

The book was launched on 15 June 2015 during a roundtable organized by UNESCO-IBE on Countering intolerance and discrimination through education: Challenges and prospects. Published by UNESCO-IBE/Springer and edited by Professors Zehavit Gross of Bar-Ilan University and E. Doyle Stevick of University of South Carolina, the book is the most significant collection of empirical research from around the world produced to date.
