Heritage Conservation, Development and Coordination Project for Afghanistan

This project aims at a holistic approach to heritage safeguarding and development in Afghanistan. It aims to address the situation of monumental heritage in danger, limited government resources for management of heritage resources and a general lack of awareness amongst both the national and international communities in Afghanistan of the contribution that culture can make as a pillar of sustainable development in Afghanistan's reconstruction after decades of war.
