How to reach UNESCO-IHE
Our visiting address is Westvest 7, Delft, The Netherlands. Please bring your ID (driver's licence, passport or ID card) with you in order to enter the building.
By car
From the A13 Amsterdam–Rotterdam, take the exit ‘Delft-Noord’ and follow the signs to the city centre. After about 2 km you will see a railway viaduct ahead. Follow the road to the left. At the next junction with traffic lights go straight on. The Institute is on your left.
Parking
UNESCO-IHE has its own car park, but its capacity is limited. Read more about other (paid) car parking options here. Visitors are advised to come by public transport.
By train
UNESCO-IHE is easy to reach by train. UNESCO-IHE faces the railway station and is located at only 2 minutes walking distance from the Delft Central Station. Follow the signs leading you to Delft's historical centre.
From Schiphol/Amsterdam Airport by train
Visitors arriving at Schiphol/Amsterdam Airport can travel to UNESCO-IHE by train (approx. 45 minutes). The railway station is at Schiphol Plaza, in the centre of the airport. In some cases it is necessary to change trains at either Leiden Central Station or The Hague Holland Spoor (Den Haag HS) Station. Read more about travelling by train from Schiphol Airport here.
