Aurélie Boulos joined the IBE in 2015. Her current work involves contributing to the development and the implementation of the IBE’s project, funded by the ‘Global Partnership for Education’, on improving the quality of learning outcomes in early reading in Burkina Faso, Niger and Senegal. She is, therefore, involved in technical assistance and capacity building support to education ministries and fundraising activities. Ms Boulos also assists other activities related to the area of Innovation and leadership in Curriculum and Learning.
Before joining the IBE, she was an educational developer in the ‘Sorbonne Paris Cité’ University in France. Previously, she worked as a policy assistant and consultant in the Directorates for Education of the European Commission, OECD and UNESCO headquarters.
Ms Boulos holds a four-year degree from Sciences Po Rennes (France), an MA in European Studies from the University of Exeter (UK), and a PhD in creativity in higher education from the National University of Ireland, Galway (Ireland). She has published several articles on the issue of creativity in teaching and learning.
