This latest issue of the IBE Working Papers on Curriculum highlights the considerable complexity involved in curriculum design processes at times like the present, when societies are changing at a rapid pace and learning conditions and needs are being modified. After having illustrated key issues regarding the vision of curriculum and trends in contemporary curriculum design process, the authors focus on some principles that should guide curriculum design processes within the global education agenda for the next 15 years.
The series IBE Working Papers on Curriculum Issues is intended to share interim results of ongoing research and to increase access to a range of unpublished documents, reports, reflections in progress and exploratory studies produced at UNESCO-IBE, by IBE partners or members of the IBE network on curriculum design and development.
