The overall goal of the activity is to strengthen Member States capacities in the development and adoption of inclusive policy frameworks and build their capacities required to support their actions on universal access to, and dissemination of, multilingual information and knowledge using ICTs, within the context of promotion and implementation of the normative instrument, Recommendation concerning the Promotion and Use of Multilingualism and Universal Access to Cyberspace; and national adoption of UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Assessment Framework for the development of action plans.
