Towards strengthened governance of the shares transboundary natural and cultural heritage of the Lake Ohrid region - Albanian contribution

The present project is the 10% contribution by Albania to the EU-funded project designed to address the main threats affecting the natural and cultural heritage of the Lake Ohrid region shared between Albania and FYR of Macedonia for the sustainable development of the cross-border Lake region. Activities are aimed at strengthening transboundary cooperation and establishing an integrated management system to support the process of extension of the existing World Heritage property in FYR of Macedonia to the Albanian part of the Lake Ohrid in the framework of the World Heritage Upstream processes for Nominations initiated by the World Heritage Committee in 2010.
