The workshop towards the better informed public debate about the EU enlargement organized in Brussels from February 17-21, 2009, gathered 22 journalists and producers from all 11 ERNO member public broadcasters. The aim of the workshop was to increase the knowledge of the participants about the EU and EU enlargement related issues in order to improve their professionalism and quality of existing daily news exchange in providing well informed, quality messages about the EU to the public. The workshop was implemented under the supervision of the European Commission.
