Dr Andrew Taussig is a Former Trustee, The International Institute of Communications. Mr Taussig worked for 30 years in the BBC where he held the post of Director of Foreign Language Services in the BBC World Service. Mr Taussig played a key role in drafting the BBC's Editorial and Production Guidelines.

Mr Taussig is a former Trustee of Voice of the Listener &Viewer, a Board member of the European Alliance of Listener & Viewer Associations, a Trustee of the International Institute of Communications and a Director of the Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management. He served as a member of the Council of Chatham House and as a member of the International Academic Advisory Committee for the Asia Media, Information and Communication Centre. He co-authored a report, commissioned by the national regulatory authorities, on community radio in Thailand.

Andrew has contributed articles to the Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television, Media Asia, Commonwealth Broadcaster and Intermedia.
