Mr Mohammed Al-Tarawneh is Chairman of Cross Borders Development Consultants and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Peace & Development. With over 24 years of experience in both public sector and international development, Mr Al Tarawneh is an expert in international development affairs. An engineer by training, he has worked as the Director of Special Building Codes in the Municipality of Greater Amman, Jordan and as Chief Advisor to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the UN Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities. He was elected as one of the twelve members of the supervisory Committee which is provided for by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
