Dr Mohamed Elhenawy is the Executive director of the Training Center and Outreach Programs Coordinator, The Egyptian Society For Persons with Autism and Other Disorders, ADVANCE. He was working in the field of disability since his graduation as a special educator from about 15 years, he worked in several societies, he  has already published a number of papers and researches in the Inclusion, Learning Difficulties and Autism, and gave many Lectures, Workshops, Training courses in Egypt and in The Arab Region. He was one of the working group of (ADVANCE) when it was elected as the Coordinator for the UNESCO "Education for All" Consultancy Committee meeting for NGOs for the Theme of Special Needs Education for the Arab Region.  He is a member of the "Partners in Inclusion Network" which deals with the education of children with learning disabilities in the Arab region since 2008. In 2009 He was one of the working group of (ADVANCE) which established the Arab Network for Autism (ANA) with others. In addition to the former, He is one of the working group of (ADVANCE) which is a member of the Committee on Basic Education Development Project "Social Contract" of the Information Centre for Decision Support of the Prime Minister's Office of Egypt since 2009.  In 2011 He was one of the working group of (ADVANCE) which is elected president of the Foundation of the Egyptian experts and organizations in support of the educational integration of Inclusive Education Foundation of Egypt (IEFE).  in March 2012 He is one of the working group of (ADVANCE) which is elected president of the Organization of containment for the Middle East and North Africa Inclusion International – MENA.
