Dr Nor Aziah Alias is the Director of Academic Development in the Universiti Teknologi MARA. Dr Alias’s objective is to utilize existing knowledge and skills in the field of instructional technology and online/distance learning via research and expert consultancy. Her main fields of interest are Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) and ICT for Development (ICT4D), Technology enhanced learning environment, Learner support in Online and Distance Learning and Design and development research in Instructional Technology. Dr Alias won Best IIUM PhD (Education) Student Award, Dissertation Award from the Malaysian Educational Technology Association and Academic Excellence Award from KOSMA, Pahang, Malaysia.
