Ms Christine Hendricks is the Executive Director of the Jamaica Council for Persons with Disabilities (JCPD). With extensive local and international experience, Ms Hendricks has been a vibrant speaker and presenter at workshops and seminars dealing with various aspects of disability.  As a member of the community of persons with disabilities, she has lent her considerable expertise and experience to the Abilities Foundation as a Board member, as well as to several working groups and committees, including the Task Force on Disability Sub–Sector Plan and the Task Force on Social & Vulnerable Groups – both part of Jamaica’s VISION 2030.

Her commitment to enhancing the total well-being of Jamaica’s children is rooted in the church and focuses on the essential ingredients for a sound society - good parenting and healthy marriages. A qualified teacher and counselor, she was a part-time lecturer at Bethel Bible College – Portmore Extension and the Jamaica Theological Seminary as well as a counsellor at the Portmore New Testament Church of God.
