Pranshu Singhal is the head of Sustainability at Nokia India and leads the strategic planning and execution on sustainability. He has been with Nokia for 9 years in various capacities and has been based in Helsinki, Singapore and presently Gurgaon. Recently he has developed one of the world’s largest take-back & recycling programme in India, has designed the ‘Create to Inspire’ fellowship, which provides youth a platform to use creative arts for building innovative social action projects; developed an environment education initiative which runs in 2500+ schools in India. He is an environmental engineer by education and has a Master’s in Environmental Management and Policy from the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics, Sweden. He is a strong proponent of sustainable consumption and is leading the development of an ecosystem for driving sustainable lifestyles.
