Antônio José do Nascimento Ferreira is the National Secretary for the Rights of the Person with Disabilities, Secretariat of Human Rights of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil. Mr Ferreira was the first president of the National Organization of the Blind of Brazil - ONCB. He worked for eight years as Manager of Public Policy for People with Disabilities. In 2010, he served as general coordinator for the Promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In July 2011, he was elected vice president of the National Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - CONADE.
