ERNO biannual meeting organized in Bucharest, Romania from April 21-24, 2005 brought together 22 participants (together with the guest speakers from Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania) from the Eurovision News desks and News Editors from ERNO network Public Broadcaster members in the region of South-East Europe. The meeting was implemented under the supervision of the UNESCO CI/FED aimed at improving and strengthening professionalism of TV media staff, i.e. coordinators, journalists, cameramen and tape editors, and developing the journalistic approach and quality of the news stories and bulletins, diversifying news output with the emphasis on "soft news" in training and drawing content of ERNO to human-interest stories and everyday life coverage, as well as increasing free flow of information among the participants.
