Dr Lava Deo Awasthi is the Director General of the Department of Education and the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Education in Nepal. Dr Awasthi worked in Government organizations and education institutions in different capacities. Earlier he was the Head of Ministry’s Planning Division and Educational Management Division, including higher education functions of the Ministry of Education.

Dr Katsuhita Katsuhito Yamaguchi specialises in the development of assistive tools for print disabled people to access scientific and mathematical content. He has been working at Nihon University since April 1990; he is now Professor at Nihon University and COO of NPO: Science Accessibility Net. Dr Yamaguchi is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication and the Physical Society of Japan.
Dr. Karan Singh is a member of India's Upper House of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha. He is a senior member of the Indian National Congress Party. Dr. Singh is India’s representative on UNESCO’s Executive Board. He also has been a member of UNESCO’s International Commission on Education in the Twenty-first Century. Dr Joshi Park is a Programme Specialist, UNESCO Office in Bangkok and Regional Bureau for Education. She plays a key role in supporting governments of the Asia-Pacific region to integrate ICT in their education system, building capacity of teachers and teacher educators to effectively use ICT in their classroom practices and promoting dialogues between various stakeholders to promote ICT-enhanced student-centered learning.
Dr John Blomquist is a Senior Economist in the World Bank's Social Protection Unit. He specialized in the design and evaluation of social assistance and poverty alleviation programs, with experience in Asia, the FSU, Africa and Latin America. He is currently engaged in the preparation of a set of guidelines on the implementation and use of social safety net programs for APEC finance ministers and he recently assisted the Asian Development Bank in the formulation of a draft social protection framework for its operations. Dr. Blomquist holds a Ph.D.
Mr. Jinuk Shin joined Samsung Electronics in 1986, and spent over 7 years in the Vienna office from 1991 to 1997. From 99 to 2005, he worked for promoting CE Sales and Marketing in Samsung Hungary. He was in GMO (Global Marketing operation) for 4 years, from 2006 to 2009. He was appointed as President of Samsung Nigeria, where he spent three years until 2012. He joined Global Marketing Operations in 2013 and a leader of Corporate Citizenship Group.
Mr Jeff Poblocki is the Director of Technology in Gow School. Mr Poblocki began working at The Gow School as an Information Technology assistant, and he assumed his current role as Director of Technology in 2011. He has owned his own technology company, Redline, since 2001. Mr Poblocki is interested in engineering, 3D printing, and audio/video production.

Mr Javed Abidi is the Vice-chair of the Disabled People’s International, a network of national organizations or assemblies of disabled people, established to promote human rights of disabled people through full participation, equalization of opportunity and development. Mr Abidi is also the the Director of National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People, where he worked with business executives from IBM, Apple Inc., Oracle Corporation, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and Hewlett-Packard to employ disabled individuals in these companies and high tech industry in general.
Mr James Teh is the Executive Director of NV Access Limited. Mr Teh has always been passionate about technology, especially free, open source software and accessibility. Totally blind since birth, he has a strong belief in community and empowerment. In 2006, he joined his long-time friend Michael Curran in the development of the free, award-winning NVDA screen reader, finally facilitating fully independent and free access to Windows computers for themselves and other blind people. James is a founding director of NV Access, the Australian charity set up to support NVDA.
