This year’s DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival will be held from 25 to 29 September and will offer a five-day series of events focused on digital culture, creativity and urban innovation ranging from meet-ups, conferences and panels to outdoor public happenings.  

The Cities Summit Tel Aviv: Cracking the Innovation Code will be one of the highlights of the Festival, by gathering urban planners, creative entrepreneurs and researchers from cities all around the word, with an expected large participation of the Creative Cities. Together, they will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and expertise, as well as explore the most inspiring and efficient ways to put innovation, risen from media arts in particular, at the core of sustainable urban development, especially through cross-cutting and multidisciplinary approaches. 

More than 50 events will be held in parallel. To name but a few:

• The “Creative Boulevard” will turn the Rothschild Boulevard – the city’s hub for startups – into a live exhibition of digital media, tech and interactive digital games throughout public spaces;
• The DLD Tel Aviv Conference, largest annual tech gathering, will offer panels and networking sessions for entrepreneurs from diverse fields;
• The “Start Tel Aviv” will showcase the winners’ works of Startups competitions, who will have the opportunity to share knowledge on a week-long workshop.
