The imagination of children sometimes goes beyond the realms of reality and challenges conventional thinking. In order to foster such creativity, Chibikkobe was created. Chibikkobe is every child’s dream-come-true; it is a city exclusively for children, designed by children. A place dedicated to creative activities where children develop and learn new skills alongside professionals of several areas.
City of Design Kobe Creative Council gets ready to launch an experimental event intended to create and promote the dissemination of new forms of culture.
Over the first weekend of May, Kobe will host its City of Design Kobe Creative City Council, a pilot project intended to facilitate the transmission of new cultural products and modes of expression. Engaging youth in this process is crucial and the event seeks to involve them in every creative aspect.
From 18 to 20 of July, Saint-Étienne will invite the designer Kanako Yamauchi from Kobe to carry-out a design workshop called the “Hybridisation of cultures” for children from 8 to 11 years old at the Espace Boris Vian of Saint-Étienne in cooperation with Kaksi Design.
