Women’s Rights, Empowerment and Gender Equality

The annual session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women has brought together governments and members of civil society to New York to address critical issues related to gender equality and women’s rights. A number of participants shared their thoughts on what they think are the biggest obstacles to women’s empowerment worldwide.
